Murder in Yellowstone

The scenario: Two teenagers hiking in Yellowstone hear loud arguing and gunshots. When they return to the parking lot, they see two people heaving a heavy burlap bundle into a pick-up truck. On a nearby trail, hikers find a dead body.

Solving the mystery involves finding answers to many questions:

  • Who or what died? (Body Identification, Anatomy and Dissection)
  • Is eyewitness memory reliable? (Forensic Psychology)
  • Was this gun used to kill someone? (Ballistics)
  • Can bugs tell the time of death? (Forensic Entomology)
  • What was the cause of death? (Toxicology)
  • Who is guilty? (DNA Evidence)
